Who we are

Pracigo compiles publicly available vacancies from employers recruiting in Czechia. The site's operator acts as data controller and can be contacted at pracigo_main@outlook.com.

What data we collect

We do not require an account and do not ask you for personal data to browse the site. We do not use any advertising, marketing or analytics cookies. If you don't create an account, the site stores a small amount of information only in your browser's local storage for functionality you control: your theme (light/dark), your saved jobs and any job alerts you create. This never leaves your device and is not sent to us.

If you choose to create an account (sign-in by email or with Google), we store your email address (and your name/photo if you use Google) and your "My Jobs" list on our server, so it stays in sync across your devices. We use Resend (email delivery, based in the United States, covered by Standard Contractual Clauses) to send the sign-in link, and Google as the sign-in provider. You can export your data or delete your account at any time from your account page.

Analytics & cookies

We use Umami, a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics tool, to understand how the site is used. It sets no cookies, collects no personal data, does not use your IP address to identify you, and never tracks you across other sites. It records only aggregate, anonymous usage — page views and a few interaction events (viewing a job, clicking apply, saving a job, searching). Because it is cookieless and stores no personal data, no consent banner is required under the ePrivacy / GDPR rules.

If you're browsing anonymously, the only cookie the site sets is a strictly-necessary one that remembers the language you choose — exempt from consent under the ePrivacy rules. Signing in adds a session cookie (and, for signed-in users, no separate consent banner is needed either, since it's strictly necessary to keep you signed in). The functional local storage described above likewise needs no consent.

Job postings & employers

Listings come from employers' public career pages and public job boards. To have a listing corrected or removed, email pracigo_main@outlook.com.

Your rights (GDPR)

Under the GDPR you can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your personal data, and you may complain to the Czech supervisory authority, Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů (ÚOOÚ, uoou.gov.cz). Write to us at pracigo_main@outlook.com.
